Three area teams are among the girls high school basketball teams in this week’s Class 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A polls.
Brownstown/St. Elmo and Cumberland are ranked in the Class 1A poll. Brownstown/St. Elmo stands in fourth spot with a 24-2 record while Cumberland if seventh with a 22-3 mark.
Effingham also is still among the ranked teams. The Hearts are 23-3 and ranked sixth in Class 2A.
