Dieterich — Dieterich and Effingham split victories in junior high boys basketball action Tuesday.
Dieterich won easily in the seventh-grade contest by a 42-7 count.
McGee, Keck and Koester tallied six each for Dieterich.
Effingham was led by Koberlein with three.
In the eighth-grade contest, the Mustangs captured a 34-6 win, running out to a 26-2 halftime lead.
Thompson scored 15 for the winners.
Gunner Lustig had four to lead Dieterich.

At Effingham
Effingham St. Anthony was a winner in both seventh- and eighth-grade action Tuesday evening.
In the seventh-grade contest, the Bullpups won 40-29. Hoene scored 14 for the winners.
In eighth-grade competition, St. Anthony put on the afterburners in a 66-8 victory.
The Bullpups ran out to a 23-0 opening quarter lead and led 35-4 at halftime.
Schumacher scored 14 for the winners while Bloemer added 13.

Jasper County won the seventh-grade contest while Sigel St. Michael was the winner in eighth-grade action Tuesday evening.
In the seventh-grade game, Jasper County ran out to a 24-15 halftime lead and finished strong with an 11-2 final period.
Cash Collins scored 18 for the winners while Tristian Lingafelter chipped in with 11. Kamden Klier was the top rebounder, Lingafelter the top defender and Collins the top passer.
St. Michael was led by Ian Walk with eight and Oliver Deters with seven.
In eighth-grade play, St. Michael edged Jasper County 34-32.
Brody Burton scored 12 for the winners while Porter Walk had eight and Ben Walk seven.
Jasper County was led by Jacob Guzman with 13 and Grant Frichtl with 10. Alex Keller was the top rebounder, Guzman the top defender and Frichtl the top passer.

Teutopolis downed Robinson twice during the evening Tuesday.
T-town ran out to a 13-4 lead in the seventh-grade contest and won 41-24.
Charlie Koester led the way with 10 points while seven players scored.
In eighth-grade action, T-town trailed Robinson 27-23 at halftime but came back with a 29-22 second half for the 52-49 win.
Mason Giles led the way in scoring with 17 while Connor Althoff added 10.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City led 26-20 at halftime and went on for a 45-33 eighth-grade victory over South Central Tuesday.
CHBC had two players in double figures. Drake Thull led the way with 22 while Lane Reed added 14.
South Central was led by Jordan Smith with 19.
