TOLEDO — Dieterich and Cumberland split victories in junior high boys basketball competition Monday evening.
Dieterich claimed the seventh-grade contest, 45-17. Dieterich ran out to a 24-6 halftime lead.
Luke Wohltman was the lone player in double figures for the winners.
Cumberland was led by Dittamore with 12.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City was a winner in the seventh-grade game against Effingham Sacred Heart Monday evening.
CHBC won 28-8 after running out to a 12-3 opening quarter lead.
Tyce Kircher led the winners with 10 points while Colt Ondes added nine.
Sacred Heart was led by Teddy Jansen with six.
In eighth-grade action, Sacred Heart claimed a 41-31 victory.
The Shamrocks held an 18-13 hafltime lead then had a 15-10 final quarter.
Bryce Hayes scored 15 for the winners while Gabe Traub added nine.
CHBC was led by Drake Thull with 12 points.

At Greenville
Altamont won over Greenville in both seventh- and eighth-grade play Monday evening.
Altamont won the seventh-grade contest, 39-11.
The winners held a 14-4 halftime lead and never looked back. Noah Pierce scored 16 for the winners.
In the eighth-grade contest, Greenville was a 41-29 winners.
Altamont was led by Neu with 10 points.

At Casey
Casey-Westfield played host to Jasper County and captured two wins Monday evening.
Casey-Westfield downed Jasper County 51-29 in the seventh-grade contest. The winners stepped out to an 18-3 opening quarter lead and never looked back.
Dallope scored 20 and Davidson 12 for the winners.
Jasper County was led by Tristian Lingafelter with nine points. Lingafelter was the top passer. Kamden Klier was the top rebounder and top defender.
In eighth-grade play, Casey-Westfield won 48-20. The winners held a 27-9 halftime lead.
Tyler Immke scored 16 and Bentley Cribelar 11 for the winners.
Jasper County was led by Grant Frichtl with six. He also was the top rebounder and top passer. Jacob Guzman was the top defender.
Jasper County is 3-5 in seventh-grade and 4-4 in eighth-grade.

Ramsey played host to South Central and edged the visitors in eighth-grade play, 48-45 Monday evening.
Ramsey moved into a 25-24 first half lead then had a 15-10 third quarter.
South Central came back with a 11-8 final quarter but it was too little, too late.
Ramsey was led by Jaxson Sampson with 18 points and Jaxxon Phillips with16.
South Central was led by Jordan Smith with 25 points on eight field goals, one a three-pointer and six free throws.

St. Elmo/Brownstown claimed both seventh- and eighth-grade wins over North Clay Monday evening.
SEB won the seventh-grade contest 45-5 and claimed the eighth-grade game 35-25.
North Clay isn’t back in action until next Monday at Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City.
