Effingham St. Anthony played host to Mount Zion and fell in both seventh- and eighth-grade girls basketball competition Saturday.
Mount Zion was a winner in the seventh-grade game 44-6.
Mount Zion moved into a 30-4 halftime lead.
St. Anthony was led by I. McDonald with all six points.
In the eighth-grade contest, Mount Zion held a 17-11 halftime lead but St. Anthony pulled within 19-18 in the third quarter. But Mount Zion had an 8-4 final period.
B. Schultz led St. Anthony with seven points.
