 Altamont, Teutopolis Capture High School Baseball Wins

ALTAMONT — Altamont moved into a 2-0 opening inning lead and went on for a 7-3 victory over Woodlawn in Saturday high school baseball action.

The Indians finished with four hits in the contest, all singles. Brayden Elam and Blake Berg had the single and an RBI to lead the way. Kade Milleville and Carson Milleville added an RBI each.

Kaiden Wolff went five innings for the pitching win. He allowed one run on three hits, walked three and struck out two.

At Centralia

Teutopolis improved its fall record to 22-1 with a 10-0 win over Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran Saturday.

The Wooden Shoes finished with 11 hits while Aiden Niemerg and Hayden Tebbe combined to toss a one-hitter. Niemerg was the winner, going four innings, giving up the one hit while walking none and striking out five. He is now 4-1 on the mound. Tebbe went the final inning, giving up one walk and striking out one.

Jason Kreke had two singles and three RBI while Austin Borries had a single, double and three RBI. Niemerg had two singles and two RBI. Davin Worman finished with two singles and a double. Gavin Addis had a double and Eric Weidner a single and an RBI.

Christ Our Rock Lutheran ended the season with an 8-6 mark.

T-town will be back in action Tuesday hosting Neoga.
