 Bombers Win MTC/EIC Tournament, Bobcats Take Third. Wooden Shoes Win Double Header

The MTC/EIC Tournament Championship game was played at Greenville University last night and the crown was claimed by Brownstown/St. Elmo with a 2-1 victory over Odin/Patoka/Sandoval.

Jayce Gillespie pitched the complete game for the Bombers, striking out 9, walking 4, while not allowing an earned run.

Brownstown/St. Elmo is now 5-10 on the season.

Teutopolis picked up two wins over Altamont as the Wooden Shoes improve to 17-0 on the season after winning game one 11-1, and following that up with a 6-victory. Altamont is now 8-9 this fall.
