CHICAGO — The Boston Red Sox handed the Chicago Cubs a 6-1 loss at Wrigley Field Sunday.

Wilyer Abreu of the Red Sox hit two home runs and drove in three.

The Cubs scored their only run in the second inning. Pete Crow-Armstrong had a lead-off double and Dansby Swanson hit a single that scored Crow-Armstrong.

Chicago did win the series, taking the first two games. The Cubs are set to host Kansas City today.

At Phoenix

Eugenio Suarez hit two home runs as the Arizona Diamondbacks tallied a 5-3 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals Sunday.

Suarez leads the Major League with 35 home runs, only one more that Shoehei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Yohel Pozo, Jordan Walker and Victor Scott II drew back-to-back-to-back walks and loaded the bases in the fifth with no outs. Brendan Donovan had a ground out that scored Pozo. Ivan Herrera struck out and Alec Burleson grounded out and only the lone run scored for the Cardinals.

The Cardinals start a three-game series Monday taking on Colorado.
