Thomas E. “Tom” Connor Jr. Age 73, of Trilla, Illinois passed away peacefully at 9:41 PM Friday, May 9, 2025 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center Mattoon.
Tom was born August 21, 1951 in Effingham, Illinois the son of Thomas and Blye (Grissom) Connor. He retired from the US Postal Service after 35 years. Tom served 6 years in the Army National Guard. He loved antiquing and going to estate sales with his wife. Tom also enjoyed his property, pets, and very much enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Tom is survived by his wife Kathleen, sons, Marshall (Breanne) Connor, Kyle (Michelle Tessler) Connor, and Zachary (Marissa Deshazo) Connor, daughter Caira Connor, grandchildren, Macie, Gage, Garrett, Grayson, Adrianna, Axel, Adalyn, Tyler, Landon, and Lincoln, sister, Sharden Connor.
Funeral Services will be held at 5:00PM Friday May 16, 2025 in the Swengel – O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, Illinois. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until service time Friday May 16, 2025 also in the funeral home. As per Tom’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded and inurned at Montrose Cemetery at a later date.
