“Bobbie” was born on August 16, 1948, in Effingham, Illinois, the first daughter of Jacob and Leota (Siefken) Evans.

Bobbie is survived by her husband, John (Jack) and two children: Charles Conour and wife Linda along with granddaughter Carolyn of Cincinnati, OH; Jennifer (Conour) Williams and husband Jacob also of Cincinnati, OH. She is also survived by her sister Rebecca (Evans) Hewing of Effingham, IL, and sisterin-law Jean (Conour) Koebele of Amelia, OH.

Bobbie was a devoted wife of 56 years, a doting grandmother, and watchful of her two children for so many years. Her support to her husband’s work, numismatic endeavors, and other pursuits leaves a lasting void that cannot be replaced. She was always helpful to her students and had the greatest respect of and for her peers with whom she maintained contact for many years. All who came in contact with Bobbie recognized a strength and bond that will not be forgotten.
Bobbie enjoyed traveling and making many business trips with her husband, family vacations, and trips to the mountains and beach during her retirement. She was proud to have visited all 50 states and that she was a two-time cancer survivor. Bobbie, while a private person, devoted herself to her faith and made many contributions to the church and other organizations. Bobbie attended Effingham High School and Eastern Illinois University graduating in 1970.
