Glenda Faye Bolyard, age 69, of St. Peter, Illinois passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at HSHS St. John’s Memorial Hospital in Springfield.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2026, at Pagel Funeral Homes in St. Peter, Illinois with a one-hour visitation prior to the service. Pete LeDuc will be officiating. Burial will be at Griffith Cemetery in Brownstown. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Pagel Funeral Homes in St. Peter. Glenda was born on May 22, 1956, in Flora, Illinois, the daughter of Glenn and Mary (Gill) Magnus. She married Floyd Bolyard on April 16, 1982, in St. Peter, Illinois. She worked in the food industry for decades and was very well known in town. She never met a stranger and always loved visiting and joking with all her acquaintances. She enjoyed watching Michael race; going to truck shows with family; and spending time with her granddaughters, who she adored.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Crickette) Bolyard of St. Peter; brothers, James (Pam) Magnus of St. Peter, Robert (Allison) Magnus of Altamont; sister, Kathy (Ernie) Depoister of LaClede; granddaughters, Madilynn and Brinley Bolyard of St. Peter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Mary Magnus, her husband, Floyd Bolyard, and infant brother, Arthur Merle Magnus.
