Robert Dake Mann, 91, of Effingham, IL, passed into Eternal Life with Christ on the evening of Saturday, January 17, 2026.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham, IL. Burial will be in Arborcrest Memorial Park in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026 prior to the service at the funeral home.
Bob was born on September 21, 1934 in Mattoon, IL, and lovingly raised by Lawrence H. and Della C. (Burrell) Mann.
He married Mildred Gwendolyn Mayhood on May 17, 1957. They have two daughters: Debra (Perry) Saffer and Jane (Eric) Lane; four grandchildren: Ryan (Lauren) Saffer, Tyler (Morgan) Saffer, Jennah Lane, and Scott Lane; and two great-grandchildren: Alex Saffer and Kyle Saffer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildren Gwendolyn (Mayhood) Mann; and parents, Lawrence H. and Della C. Mann.
He is survived by brothers Jim Mann and Tom Mann.
