Janet Louise Kline Erlenbusch Sronce passed away Sunday August 24, 2025, at the Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Center in Effingham, Illinois.
Services will be held at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery rural Effingham County near Moccasin on 1600th Avenue on Friday November 28, 2025, at 11:00 am.
Janet was born August 6, 1940, at home in Fayette County, Illinois. She was the daughter of Joseph D. and Maggie E. Lorton Kline. On May 27, 1972, she married Floyd “Willie” Erlenbusch. He passed away May 25, 1998. On March 11, 2001, she married Robert Sronce of Maroa, Illinois.
She graduated from Beecher City High School in 1958. Janet enjoyed doing the genealogy of her family. She did it prior to the age of the internet, back when it required trips to the courthouse, library and cemetery. She loved her flowers, her cats but most of all her family. She thought of her nephews as her own.
Surviving is her husband, brother Charles and wife Nina Kline, nephews Jeffery and wife Anita Kline and Gregory and wife Cynthia Kline all of Beecher City, Illinois. , Mitch and wife Leila Kline of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Austin Kline of Allenhurst, Georgia, Great Niece Alexandria “Alli” and husband Marshall Mellendorf of Newton, Illinois. Several great great nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Services have been entrusted to the Kull Funeral Home, Altamont, Illinois.
