Ila Marie Probst, 3-month-old daughter of Darren and Kara (Swingler) Probst, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Ila’s life at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lillyville. Those attending are encouraged to wear bright colors, reflecting the joy that Ila’s bright smile and personality brought to everyone around her. Memorial donations may be made to the Ila Probst Memorial Account and will be accepted through the Teutopolis State Bank. Arrangements are in the care of Bauer Funeral Home in Teutopolis.
Ila leaves behind her parents; big brother, Briggs; grandparents, Roger & Corinne Swingler of Lillyville and Carl & Angie Probst of Teutopolis; great-grandparents, Pauline Repking and Theresa Probst, both of Bishop Creek, and Art & Betty Deters of Teutopolis; as well as many other family members and friends.
Ila was welcomed into heaven by her great-grandparents, Vernon Repking, Roger Probst, and Donald & Rosella Swingler.
