Brian K. Icenogle  68, of Charleston, Illinois, formerly of Neoga, Illinois, passed away at 7:40 PM Saturday, September 13, 2025 in the Willow Breeze Hospice of Mattoon, Illinois.

Brian  was born September 6, 1957 in Mattoon, Illinois the son of Harold and Glenna Barbara (Shields) Icenogle. He married Alice Harmon – Evans, March  8, 2004  in Toledo, Illinois.  Mr. Icenogle drove a delivery route for Sunbeam Bread Company for over 25 years, delivered the Journal Gazette Newspaper, enjoyed mowing at the cemetery, delivery for Gofer Express, Pronto and Veterans Administration.  Brian loved farming with his father, outside work in the yard, woodworking, he had a passion for old tractors, St. Louis Cardinals, no bake cookies, candy corn and circus peanuts.  He especially loved spending time with his family, grandkids and friends.

Brian is survived by his wife, Alice Icenogle of Charleston, Illinois formerly of Neoga, Illinois; children, Janelle Muchow (Jeremy) of Mattoon, Illinois and Jonathan Icenogle (Chelsea) Dieterich, Illinois; stepchildren, Kristina Evans ( fiancé, Jamie Price) of Tolono, Illinois and Tommy Evans (Kara Bapp) of Neoga, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Ashley Muchow (fiancé, Ethan Burkett), Jarret Muchow, Adrienne Muchow, Jackson Icenogle, Addison Icenogle, Alivia Icenogle, Logan Dann and Emma Dann; brothers, Joe Icenogle (Nada), Paul Icenogle (Betty) and Mike Icenogle; sister, Linda Shadwick (Larry); aunt, Nancy Snedeker; numerous cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials can be made to the Sarah Bush Willow Breeze Hospice in Mattoon, Illinois or  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 19, 2025 in the Swengel – O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, Illinois.  Visitation will be Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM also in the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Toledo Cemetery, in Toledo, Illinois.
