Kathleen A. “Kathy” (Collins) Grossius of St. Louis, formerly of Effingham, died on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
She was the daughter of the late Roy and Veronica Collins, and was a 1962 graduate of St. Anthony High School. She married Jim Grossius, who preceded her in death. Local survivors include her sisters, Karen (Phil) Flach and Laurie (Mike) Yager.
Kathy devoted her life to helping others through her lengthy nursing career. After retirement, she enjoyed baking, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Visitation will be at Kutis South County Chapel at 5255 Lemay Ferry Road on Sunday, August 10 from 11am to 3pm. Memorials to Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
