Larry E. Kibler, age 87 of Olney, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on June 15, 2025, atLinda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.
Larry was born on January 7, 1938, at home in rural Jasper County, Illinois, the son of Perry and Evelyn (Newlin) Kibler. Larry married his wife Beatrice Scott on December 19, 1958, in Newton, Illinois, and she survives.
Services will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the First Assembly of God Church in Olney, Illinois with visitation for 1 hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be held following the service at Bethel Cemetery in rural Jasper County. In lieu flowers memorials may be made to the Linda E. White Hospice House in Memory of Larry E. Kibler. Larry worked at Prairie Farms Dairy delivering milk for 40 years before his retirement. He loved his job and his co-workers at Prairie Farms were more than friends, they became family. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Olney, Illinois. Larry loved his wife and family and would attend his children and grandchildren’s school and extracurricular activities as often as possible. He loved traveling, camping, water and snow skiing and being outdoors.
Larry is survived by his wife of 67 years: Beatrice Kibler of Olney, Illinois; daughter: Sheri (Brent) Pitts of Olney, Illinois; brother: Richard (Peggy) Kibler of Irving, Illinois; sisters- in-law: DeAnn Scott and Thelma Bigard; grandchildren; Brittany (Taylor) Akers, Sydney (Jason Shryock) Pitts, Hayley (Nathan Welch) Pitts; great-grandchildren: Conner Akes and Lexie Akers.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, son Scott Kibler, brother Rex Kibler, brothers-in-law Kenny Bower, Danny Bigard, Larry Scott and sister-in-law Arlene Bower.
