On November 14, 1964, at St. Norbert Church in Hardin, Illinois, Emilio married the love of his life, Carolyn Warren. Their 46 years of marriage were a testament to their unwavering love and devotion until Carolyn’s passing in May of 2011. Emilio was a faithful and devoted parishioner at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Granite City. He was devoted to his faith and his family. He was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree, Council 1098.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army.  Emilio had a deep love for the outdoors, whether tending to his landscaping or garden, and took great pride in the appearance of his surroundings. An excellent carpenter, he was always willing to lend a helping hand on any building project, displaying attention to detail and a level of perfectionism that shone through his work and life.
