Travis Dale Ingram, 34, of Effingham passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 after a tragic accident.

He was born on September 10, 1990 in Effingham, IL to Lyle and Irene (Hites) Ingram. Travis was a loving father, son and uncle, known for his fun-loving, silly personality and his passion for sports, especially football. His warm spirit and generous heart endeared him to everyone who knew him. He deeply cherished his family and leaves behind many who loved him dearly.

He is survived by his three children, Phoenix, Jerzey and Kingston, and their mother, Quanea Ingram; his parents, Lyle and Irene Ingram; and his siblings, Tori (Michael) Lindsey, Laura Hoelscher, Levi (Michelle) Hoelscher, Clinton (Jill) Ingram, and Brandon (Dea) Ingram. Travis is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Ethel (Marie) Hites; maternal aunts, Michelle (Hites) Thoele, Sandy Hites, and Mary Lou Hites; cousin, Jamie Hites; paternal grandfather, Dale Ingram; and paternal uncles, Lowell Ingram and Kent Ingram.

Travis will be dearly missed by all who had the joy of knowing him.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Effingham Event Space located inside the Truckers Pub. Let’s say goodbye to the life of the party with a big celebration in his honor. At 5:17pm, there will be a eulogy followed by an open mic for friends and family to share stories and memories of their time with Travis.

In lieu of flowers, guests are welcome to take personal mementos, written memories, or photos to share during the celebration of life.
