Beecher City school board members reorganized in the aftermath of the April election Monday.
David Doty was chosen as board president, Ryan Schaefer as vice-president, and Jordan Shields as secretary.
The Board appointed Jonathan Wakefield as a new member. Also, the Board approved the tentative amended budget, named Aaron Summers as EIASE board representative, and approved the fees for the 2025-2026 school year.
A motion to approve the coaches and sponsors for the coming school year was tabled, but the Board agreed to employ certified teacher Jenna Kremer at the elementary school, employed Jada Suckow as a teacher at the elementary school, employed Douglas Newburn as the elementary janitor, and accepted the letter of resignation of extra-curricular activity sponsor Hillary Kopplin.
