Effingham Public Library board members approved the annual non-resident participation and Fiscal 2027 fee.
The fee is in place for those who live outside the city limits, but want to have a library card.
The Board also approved a succession plan. Library Director Amanda McKay said the plan is for emergency situations such as a sudden death or other emergencies.
Board members also reviewed special taxes available to provide revenue for specific expenses. No new taxes were implemented.
