 Brownstown Board Handles Personnel Matters Including Principal’s Post

Brownstown school board members handled several personnel moves at this month’s meeting.

Resignations were accepted for next school year from junior/senior high school principal Mark Riley, paraprofessional Holly Hollowell, 2nd grade teacher Kaitlyn Mills and junior/senior high school English teacher Bill Myers.

Employed for next year were junior/senior high school principal Adam Hanks and 3rd grade teacher Meghan Deters. The Board also discussed summer maintenance help for this year.

Board members awarded a bid from Mid-State Roof Company to complete repairs and updates at Brownstown Elementary School, renewed membership in the IHSA for next school year, and renewed its SEPCO agreement for next year, and renewed its intergovernmental agreement with the Regional Office of Education.
