Cowden-Herrick school board members have approved the calendar for the coming school year. August 13th will be the first student attendance day.
The Board awarded the Herrick Elementary roof replacement project to Top Quality, and approved a bid to replace the water heater in the junior high building to Bradford White with an expansion tank from Helm.
Board members approved a memorandum of understanding with the union regarding the bus mechanic position, and approved the honorable dismissal of Emma Wehrle. The Board accepted the resignation of Barb Lawyer at the end of the school year, employed Maggie Harmeier as the Cowden-Herrick elementary school guidance counselor, and employed Tony Carlisle as a bus mechanic and to approve the reimbursement agreement.
