Lake Land College will be celebrating 60 years of life-changing service to the district in 2026. A newly created anniversary emblem will be shared during College events and celebrations throughout the year.
The Phi Theta Kappa student honorary society officers will be developing social media posts highlighting interesting facts about the College’s history throughout. The Foundation will be hosting opportunities for donors and alumni to be a part of the celebration.
In September, the College will host the first annual Founder’s Day event on Sept. 24 – the day the voters of Community College District #517 passed a referendum establishing Lake Land College in 1966.
