The 2026 Polar Plunge is less than two weeks away.
Officially called the “Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois”, the event is set for Lake Sara Beach on Saturday, February 28 at 12 noon. This year’s theme is “Be Cool. Take the Plunge.”
Funds raised will support a variety of activities to benefit Special Olympians.
