Local Congressman Mike Bost applauded House approval of a transportation, health, and security funding package that provides a 3.8% pay raise for members of the military, invests in education and healthcare, and strengthens roads and infrastructure, including projects in Clay and Jasper counties.
Bost reported a $1.3 million allocation for the City of Flora for west side transportation improvements, and $540,000 for North Muddy Township to reconstruct North 600th Street.
