Teutopolis village board members Wednesday discussed establishing a third Tax Increment Financing District in the village. The third district would concern a land acquisition.
The Board tabled action on purchasing an alarm system for the sewer lift stations in the village, but a vote is expected soon. They also approved a TIF 2 payout to Siemer Milling Company for just over $39,000.
Village officials are working on updating the warning siren software on the old fire station building. They also purchased two easements for sidewalk and utility work on Oak Street.
