A train car being moved by Effingham Equity personnel struck a passenger vehicle shortly after 7pm Tuesday.
The incident happened at the private siding utilized by the Equity. One person in the passenger vehicle was injured and was taken for treatment. Effingham fire and police personnel assisted at the scene and Rural Med EMS took the injured person for treatment.
