The Effingham High School Competitive Cheer Team competed in the Highland Invitational on Saturday.
The squad took first place honors in Large Varsity Game Day, and third place in 1A Small Varsity Routine.
EHS Cheer Coach Lisa Sigg said both routines qualified to compete at the ICCA Championships on Saturday, January 10 at the Bank of Springfield Center in Springfield.
