Clay County board members voted to place a special highway use tax question on the March election ballot.

The tax revenue goes directly for materials for county roads. The revenue does not cover salaries, labor or equipment.

Board members voted to place an advisory referendum on the March ballot regarding the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit. The tax credit offers up to $1,700, and is for anyone who gives scholarship funds in both public and private schools.

The Board also approved the sale of the Louisville Clinic building.
