The winners of the 2025 City of Altamont Christmas Lighting Contest have been announced.
The first place winner will receive a 100% free electric bill for the month of December, while the second place winner will receive 50% off their December electric bill. The free electricity is donated by the City of Altamont. The third place winner will be given $50 courtesy of the Altamont Garden Club.
Here are the winners:
First place–Clayton and Kristen Barnick of 200 East Wurl Lane
Second place–Jane Lustig of 208 East Meadows Lane
Third place–John and Sharon Dial of 401 North Edwards
Honorable Mention–Julie Ohnesorge of 202 Whitler Lane
