Next week is Homecoming Week at Teutopolis High School.
The Homecoming theme is “Tangled”.
The Homecoming game will be played on Friday, December 12. The game will be played in J.H. Griffin Gym with the Wooden Shoes hosting the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints. The junior varsity game will begin at 6pm, and the Homecoming Court will be presented between games.
The Homecoming King candidates are Cody Hemmen, son of Rick and Stacey Hemmen; Jason Kreke, son of Ed and Mary Jo Kreke; and Derek Schmidt, son of Brett and Kelly Schmidt.
The Homecoming Queen candidates are Madison Miller, daughter of Steve and Michelle Miller; Kelsey Niemerg, daughter of Darin and Lisa Niemerg; and Allie Ruholl, daughter of Jason and Stacey Ruholl.
Junior attendant is Sophia Cremens, daughter of Matt and Shelly Cremens; sophomore attendant is Mara Benito Rodriguez, foreign exchange daughter of Matthew and Cassandra Carpenter; and freshman attendant is Brooklyn Kinkelaar, daughter of Chad and Lindsey Kinkelaar. The retiring Queen from Homecoming 2024 is Isabella Heuerman, daughter of Woody and Kelly Heuerman. The retiring King from Homecoming 2024 is Dawson Hoene, son of Bruce and Jodi Hoene.
The Homecoming dance will be held at Bishop Hall on Saturday, December 13. Tickets are currently being sold by the Student Council in the mornings before school and during lunch hour. The parents and community are asked to view the coronation at the game rather than at the dance.
