The Effingham County Chamber is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Excellence in Business Awards. This prestigious recognition celebrates local businesses that demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, and community impact throughout Effingham County.
Eligible nominees include Chamber-member businesses — private or public, non-profits, associations, vendors, or government entities — that meet the following criteria:
– Demonstrated growth in revenue and job creation.
– Adoption of sound or innovative business practices.
– Active community service and civic involvement.
– Commitment to employee development and collaborative spirit.
– Excellent customer service and a significant contribution to the area’s economic health.
Past Excellence in Business winners are not eligible.
Interested parties may submit nominations via the Chamber’s online form – EffinghamCountyChamber.com/nominate-a-business/. Self-nominations are encouraged. Each nomination requires a separate form.
Deadline: Friday, December 5, by 5 p.m.
Award Presentation: Winners will be honored at the Chamber’s Annual Gala on Saturday, January 17, 2026.
