Effingham’s third Rotary Club held its inaugural meeting on November 11.
The Good Spirits Club met Tuesday evening at 5:30 pm at the Wheat Penny in downtown Effingham. The meeting gives Effingham morning, noon and night Rotary clubs.
The primary subject of discussion was how club members can make a difference in Effingham. Noon Club President Mike Kirchhoff said, “I left the meeting energized for the future of this new companion club and Rotary in general.” Kudos to Andrew Koester and the Noon Rotarians who attended the first meeting, including Norma Lansing, Roger Stevenson, Courtney Yockey, and Laurel Light. (Laurel and Courtney are signed up to participate as members in the Good Spirits Club, along with Andrew.)
