Beecher City school board members are looking at an addition to their junior-senior high school building.
Beecher City Superintendent Phil Lark said officials are looking at a four-classroom addition including a restroom. Lark hopes they could move forward with the project in the next couple of months.
Also this week, the board approved the tentative tax levy, and approved a school maintenance grant. The Spanish Club received permission to attend the Indy International Festival this Friday.
Board members also approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Cumberland School District regarding speech pathologist services.
The Board accepted the resignation of non-certified staff member Doug Newburn, but the hire of a non-certified employee was tabled.
