Brownstown resident Eric Forbes has been sentenced to six years in prison.
The 59-year-old Forbes pled guilty in Fayette County Circuit Court to unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Forbes was arrested in June.
Two other felony counts were dismissed as part of the plea.
