Dieterich resident Martin Butler has been sentenced to 20 years in prison on counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
The 48-year-old Butler was arrested on a total of 11 criminal counts in March of this year, but entered guilty pleas to four offenses. The judge stated Butler should remain in custody since he presented “a danger to a specific person based on the amount of time he abused the alleged victim.” Authorities allege Butler placed a tracking device on the alleged victim’s car.
