Stewardson-Strasburg school board members passed their budget for the coming fiscal year at their recent meeting.
The Board approved a required 10-year Health and Life Safety Survey as provided by the District architect, and discussed a possible roof project for summer of 2026.
Board members hired Josh Nichols as a junior high “B” baseball coach and hired Garrett Wright as band and music teacher beginning January 2. They approved Mitch Martin obtaining his bus driver license, and approved contributing an extra $100 per month towards insurance premiums for any individual taking school insurance beginning December 2025 through the current contract period.
