A three-vehicle crash tied up eastbound traffic in Cumberland County for more than two hours Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened on eastbound I-70 about five miles east of Montrose at 2:20pm. Illinois State Police said two semi-trucks and a pickup truck were involved, and injuries were involved. One of the trucks was a sewage truck and sewage reportedly spilled onto the roadway.
Both eastbound lanes were initially shut down with traffic diverted off at the Montrose interchange. The left lane was re-opened around 4:15pm, and the right lane was re-opened at 5pm.
