A man is in custody Tuesday afternoon after his arrest for displaying a weapon at other drivers.
Illinois State Police were notified at 1:22pm and dispatched to I-70 westbound near Montrose for a driver displaying a weapon at other drivers.
The driver was subsequently stopped and taken into custody.
We also had a report the suspect was spotted near St. Elmo and Fayette County sheriff’s deputies confirmed that the suspect had been spotted there, as well.
Again, the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
