Shelby County Coroner Beth Debolt and the Shelby County Board have reached agreement on a pay structure for her deputy coroners.
Board Chairman Tad Mayhall said the new structure will be based on a per-call basis.
The Board finalized an agreement with Kane County as to where Shelby County juvenile offenders should be housed. Many facilities around the state can’t house juveniles. Also, the Board posted a job notice for the County’s zoning administrator position. Administrator Scott McKee is wanting to concentrate on EMA duties, but has agreed to remain as zoning administrator through year’s end.
Shelby board members are still seeking to fill an appointment to the Mental Health 708 Board.
