Members of Effingham Noon Rotary learned about better nutrition for people, and new home for animals at this month’s meetings.
Steve Seymour chaired the program on animals, as he and his wife, Cynthia, are supporters of better treatment of animals. They serve as volunteers for the Effingham County Animal Shelter and Rescue.
Seymour’s guests were Lauren McGregor, Mikaela Houston and Michelle Shoot who serve either as staff, officers or volunteers for the Animal Shelter. They discussed how residents can support the Shelter, which is a no-kill facility.

Also this month, Dr. Steve Sieberg of Cornerstone Direct Primary Care of Effingham, spoke to his fellow Rotarians about proper digestion and how that can be best facilitated. Dr. Sieberg is pictured with Noon Rotary Chairman Mike Kirchhoff.
