Teutopolis Village Board members Wednesday adopted a new Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the village.
The plan has been developed by village officials and other members of the community over the last several months, then was finalized by the University of Illinois. The Village paid the U of I $2,787.46 for its work.
Board members also approved a modification of the boundaries of the City of Effingham/Effingham County Enterprise Zone. The Effingham City C0uncil and the Effingham County Board had earlier approved the modifications. The State has to now sign off on the zone changes.
The Board approved a Tax Increment Financing agreement with Jason and Stacy Ruholl for Ruholl Trailer Sales, and also discussed renting equipment for overhead work, such as placing the village Christmas lights.
Board members approved a payment of $248,030.29 on the Oak Street construction project, and approved a transfer of real estate. An ordinance was approved to adopt employment policies.
