Edgewood resident Christopher Jones has pleaded guilty in a Fayette County Circuit Court case to aggravated battery to a police officer.

The 25-year-old Jones was arrested in late November after an incident where he “made physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature.” Jones was accused of wrapping his arm around a female officer’s waist and grabbing her.

Jones was placed on two years’ probation, must undergo an anger management evaluation, and must complete 50 hours of public service work.
