Congratulations to Krista Phillips, who was crowned Miss Effingham County Fair 2025 Tuesday night.
Krista is the daughter of Glen and Jeni Phillips of Effingham. She will reign over the remainder of this year’s fair and will then compete in January at the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs in Springfield. The winner there will reign over the 2026 Illinois County Fair and Du Quoin State Fair.
Emma Beckman was named first runner-up and Ellie Macklin second runner-up. Hayden Baker won Miss Photogenic honors, the Fan Club award for most in ticket sales, and the raffle sales.
Queen Krista succeeds Kyandra Zerrusen as fair queen.
