This year’s Effingham County Relay for Life’s fundraising goal looks very reachable after a hot but fun event Friday evening.
Relay’s Ron Mietzner said the move to Teutopolis Community Park was a good decision for one big reason…SHADE! Mietzner said the park location was very helpful.
This year’s Relay goal is $70,000 and Mietzner said they are now over $60,000 with the silent auction continuing until Wednesday. You can go to the Relay for Life Effingham County Facebook page to bid on auction items.
Mietzner said this year’s survivor speaker, Mandy Jo Schumacher, was “fabulous”.
