Teutopolis village board members amended its TIF redevelopment agreement with Farmweld.

The revised agreement removed a piece of property that will be developed separately from the Farmweld development.

The Board also approved a payment of just over $132,000 on improvements to Oak Street, then approved a $32,000 change order to the project. Board members also awarded a bid to J.B. Esker and Sons for Phase 2 sidewalk construction in Prairie View Estates Subdivision for $208,805.25.

The Board approved a $5,500 to the Effingham Regional Growth Alliance, and then approved the acquisition of five easements for sidewalk and utility purposes and tabled a sixth.

Teutopolis board members discussed then decided to pursue development of a Teutopolis Employee Handbook. Following a closed session, the Board hired Scott Winter as a water and sewer plant operator.
