Effingham firefighters were called out about 7pm Sunday, but the call turned out to be false.
The caller told firefighters that a lightning strike hit a vacant mobile home at 44 Four Seasons. When firefighters checked the scene, no damage to the mobile home was found. Firefighters believe a tree was struck next to the mobile home.
