Activities are planned all day on Friday to celebrate the 4th of July in Farina.
Food stands and a beer garden will open at 12 noon.
Registration for the parade will begin at 2pm, with the parade stepping off at 3pm.
The SIETC (Southern Illinois Elite Tumble and Cheer) Rebels will perform from 3:45 to 5pm.
Inflatables, kids games, and Bingo will all begin at 4pm.
A cake walk will start at 5pm. The official opening including the National Anthem will also begin at 5pm.
The Bryer Rhodes Band will perform from 5:15 to 7:30pm, followed by the Matt Poss Band from 7:45 to 9:15pm.
The raffle drawing will begin at 9:15pm, followed by fireworks by J&M Displays at 9:30pm.
The Matt Poss Band will be back to close out the day from 10 to 10:30pm.
