A 24-year-old St. Elmo man was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday.
Alexander D. Lawinger was the operator of a cycle that missed a curve and left the roadway. The crash happened early in the morning on a rural road northwest of Ramsey.
Lawinger was pronounced dead at the scene by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office. An autopsy on Lawinger will be scheduled.
Fayette County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted at the scene.
