Police are investigating the death of a man who was struck by a train early Tuesday morning.
The incident happened in Casey. The 33-year-old man was struck just before 1:30am at the intersection of East Main Street and SE 8th Street.
The Casey Police Department sought assistance from the Illinois State Police in an investigation into the incident.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
